Terms of Service - Daily Task Tracker

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, installing, or using Daily Task Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Daily Task Tracker is a mobile application designed to help users organize, track, and manage their daily tasks and to-do lists. The App provides features including:

Task creation and management
Goal tracking
Backup and sync via Google Drive
Memory/journal entries
Notifications and reminders
Auto mode for task creation
Team Lists for real-time collaboration
In-app purchases for premium features

3. LICENSE TO USE

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Daily Task Tracker for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
Maintain the confidentiality of your Google account credentials
Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

5. DATA AND PRIVACY

5.1 Local Storage

Your task data is primarily stored locally on your device
You maintain control over your data at all times

5.2 Cloud Backup (Optional)

You may optionally enable Google Drive backup
When enabled, your data is synced to your personal Google Drive account
We do not have access to your Google Drive data
You can disable cloud sync at any time

6. TEAM LISTS

The App offers a "Team Lists" feature for real-time collaboration:

Team data is stored on secure Google cloud servers (Firebase Firestore)
Your Google account name, email, and profile photo are visible to team members
You may leave any team at any time; your personal data will be removed from that team
Team admins may remove members or delete teams entirely
When a team is deleted, all associated data (tasks, members, invitations) is permanently removed

7. IN-APP PURCHASES

7.1 Pricing

The App may offer in-app purchases for premium features or content
All prices are displayed in your local currency via Google Play
Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice
The Service Provider reserves the right to modify, increase, or decrease prices at its sole discretion
Price changes will not affect purchases already completed

7.2 Payment Processing

All in-app purchases are processed through Google Play
Payment terms are governed by Google Play's Terms of Service
The Service Provider does not store or have access to your payment information

7.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Google Play's refund policies
The Service Provider is not obligated to provide refunds outside of Google Play's policies

7.4 Purchase and Subscription Verification

Premium access is determined by verifying your purchase/subscription status through Google Play and/or secure Google cloud services
For reliability and fraud prevention, the App may send purchase token(s) and product identifiers to a backend service that verifies status with Google Play and stores a premium entitlement record
Subscription status can change over time (for example, cancellation, expiration, refund). Premium access may be updated accordingly
Verification may require an internet connection and may not be instantaneous in all cases

7.5 Offers and Promo Codes

The App may provide promotional offers (for example, discounted pricing for "Pro Yearly") from time to time.
Some offers may require entering a promo code in the App; others may require redeeming a code in Google Play.
Offers/promo codes may have eligibility requirements (for example, "new subscribers"), may be limited by region, may expire, and may be disabled at any time.
Unless explicitly stated, offers cannot be combined.
The final price and terms are always shown by Google Play during checkout and will take precedence over any informational price shown in the App.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App may integrate with third-party services including:

Google Drive (for backup and sync)
Google Sign-In (for authentication)
Firebase / Google Cloud (for remote configuration, authentication, Firestore, and backend services such as Cloud Functions)
Google Play Billing and Google Play Developer APIs (for in-app purchases and purchase/subscription verification)
Google Cloud Pub/Sub (for real-time developer notifications related to billing status)
AdMob (for advertisements)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

9. ADVERTISEMENTS

The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the App, you consent to the display of such advertisements in accordance with Google's advertising policies.

10. NOTIFICATIONS

The App may send you notifications and reminders related to your tasks. You can control notification settings through your device settings or within the App.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All rights, title, and interest in and to Daily Task Tracker, including all intellectual property rights, remain with the developer. These Terms do not grant you any rights to trademarks, service marks, or logos.

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Uninterrupted or error-free operation

We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or that it will be secure, error-free, or virus-free.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any)
We are not responsible for any loss of data, tasks, or content

14. UPDATES AND MODIFICATIONS

14.1 App Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add features
Updates may be automatically downloaded and installed
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of changes

14.2 Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
Changes will be effective upon posting
Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of modified Terms
We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email

15. TERMINATION

15.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

15.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for:

Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activities
Any other reason we deem necessary

16. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities, including but not limited to abuse of service or violation of applicable laws.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

18. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App should first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration or court proceedings in accordance with applicable law.

19. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Daily Task Tracker regarding use of the App.

21. NO WAIVER

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
